How to Measure

Inside Mount - generally used when you have approx 50mm plus depth inside the window frame

Using a Steel Tape Measure, measure the width and drop in mm's between the window frames.

Note: It is handy to measure the window in 3 places across the width and drop to prevent measurements being inaccurate due to windows that are out of square. If the measurements do differ, then go by the smallest measurement.

A deduction of 5-10mm is then taken (depending on the type of blind) from the tight fit measurement when ordering an inside mount blind.

When ordering, please specify whether you have given the exact blind size, or whether you   have given the exact window size and would like us to make the deductions for you.

Outside Mount - generally used to completely cover the window frame, not allowing any light to come in from the sides, and when there is not enough depth in the window frame to mount the blinds inside.

Using a steel tape measure, measure the width and drops of the architrave or front of the window to the exact size that you prefer the blind to cover.

When you receive your blinds, you will be supplied with all the correct mounting brackets, and installation instuction sheet.
